Hachijojima, a remote island off the coast of Tokyo, is a place where the islanders are very active in music. However, due to geographical reasons, the islanders do not have many opportunities to experience authentic music. Therefore, we aim to further promote and develop the island’s music culture by inviting top artists from outside the island to hold a music festival and encouraging interaction with the islanders.
