Minami-Senju is a neighborhood with plenty of history, but unless a local temple or shrine is a tourist draw or you are a temple patron, you cannot go inside. Even if you are just walking around, all you can do is read the information boards outside temples and shrines. Holding art events in temples like these, schools, shopping streets etc. has boosted local residents’ experience of arts and culture by creating opportunities for people to get to know local history and freely enjoy quality music, yose traditional vaudeville entertainment, etc.
