With the aim of promoting the creation of contemporary circus art and culture in Japan, Room Kids held a workshop program designed to provide experience in conceptualizing and creating works as well as in working together as a group. The program comprised a workshop on the history of contemporary circus, a discussion to enable participants to comprehensively verbalize their personal creative intentions, and rehearsal. At the end of the program, participants created a performance piece lasting a little over an hour and performed the results.
