“Mayumi no Kai” is long-running major performance series organized by Matsunokai for the purpose of passing down Noh techniques and promoting Noh culture. This 37th performance featured the Maibayashi “Futarishizuka,” the Shimai “Sotowakomachi,” and the Noh play “Syouzon.” Moreover, since a sword features in the central scene of the Noh play “Syouzon,” an interactive workshop was held prior to the performance enabling people to experience sword movements in Noh.
