Organizers have carried out a project to gather opinions and comments as the second year of a three-year project to create an archive site.
The archive site features interviews with former museum staff members who have been involved in the launch and operation of universal museum initiatives for many years, as well as people with visual impairments who have taken part in the organization’s art appreciation workshops.
The organization also held a workshop where people with and without vision shared their experiences of movies and TV shows. The workshop generated lively discussion on subjects such as stereotypical depictions of visually impaired people in movies and TV shows, how this impacts society, and the way this is perceived by visually impaired people themselves.

The ‘Verbal Imaging Museum Tour with Visually Impaired People’ (Totsukuru), which started its activities in 2012, is an organisation that creates opportunities for people who can see, who cannot see and who have difficulty in seeing to get together in various places in society, discusses their experiences and creates opportunities for everyone to think about ‘seeing’ together.
