  • Type of Grant Program : Single Individual
  • Art Forms : Visual Art / Media Art

Outline

Taking as its starting point the fact that the Bunka district where residential/art space Awoba-soh is located was once the site of a muslin factory, this event created an opportunity to learn what sort of place it was and what life is like there today through art exhibitions, walks around the Awoba-soh area, and roundtable discussions. Exhibiting artists comprised AKO, TAI Yi Fei and Moromi MOROKAWA, and the exhibition was planned and curated by Ayana NAKATSUKA. The event also included artist Kenichi OBANA as a talk guest.
