This project featured the long radiophonic works by French composer Luc Ferrari, who will mark the 20th anniversary of his death in August 2025, along with works by Brunhild Ferrari, and performed the works using the Acousmonium, a multidimensional surround sound system.
The event also included a pre-concert talk on Acousmonium, an after-concert talk with two guests who are leading researchers on Ferrari, and an after-concert talk by the three performers.

Ayako Sato
Ayako Sato is a composer, musician, artist, and researcher working mainly in the field of electroacoustic music. Using recordings materials of noises, sounds of everyday, and sound objects she encounters in her travels and daily life, she creates works that retrace and overwrite memories of environments and places. Her works have been presented at international conferences and festivals (ICMC, SMC, NYCEMF, ISMIR, WOCMAT, etc.) and won awards in international competitions. She received her Ph.D. from Tokyo University of the Arts in 2019 for her research on Luc Ferrari’s works.
