“La Boheme,” Puccini’s world-renowned opera set in Paris in the 1830s, finds new life as a portrayal of life in a South African township

Isango Ensemble was founded by British director Mark Dornford-May and young artists from South African townships. Since its creation, the company has won numerous artistic awards all over the world.
