The “Toshima no Furumai” project is a look into human “behavior.” Part of “Toshima Art Station Koso,” the Company Furumai has since September of 2013 been developing this project under the theme of “body expression.” This event will present the results of six months’ investigation by the “researchers” drawn by interest in furumai, the human behavior. The program is dedicated to finding new avenues of appeal for Toshima, and is going beyond conventional theater and dance to seek out their connection with the human body.
The Furumai investigations have revealed many unusual secrets in the basics underlying the foundations of such things as everyday life. The theme of this event is thus a rethinking of the concepts of “foundation. ”
By unraveling behavior, we hope to offer those who come to see this presentation a chance to look again at the everyday. We hope to see you there.
