Artpoint Meeting #16
How to communicate and document using digital methods

The experience of the coronavirus pandemic made us familiar with the use of digital methods in project planning, and the process of trial and error involved in these methods continues. For example, some activities continued to be conducted in-person but also worked well online, while other activities did not go well online and reverted to the in-person medium. On the other hand, we can now choose from a variety of methods in the project planning process: creating paper media, making videos, using websites, and more.

With such a variety of options available, now is the time to stop and think afresh about the unique digital ways to communicate and document. This involves a variety of perspectives, including ways to communicate with people in distant places, the role of websites, the creation of physical and digital archives, and changes in locations/platforms for exhibitions and the showing of artworks. This Artpoint Meeting features guests with experience in online practices who will discuss how we can harness digital possibilities to expand our future activities.
