Under the direction of contemporary artist and Tokyo University of the Arts professor Katsuhiko Hibino, participants will make five “mikoshi” portable shrines in different colors.The completed five-colored “mikoshi”shrines will be exhibited in public space, and parade in Ueno Onshi Park in celebration of the awarding of the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games to Tokyo.
