SAM LEE & FRIENDS with GAGAKU

Sam Lee uses the Japanese herp, koto and other ethnic instruments to present traditional English songs as a form of modern art. An artist known around the world, he now incorporates such other traditional Japanese instruments as the “sho” and “hichiriki” to create a new world of music. This one-night-only performance demonstrates the possibilities inherent in combining eastern and western traditions.
