Sunachi Theatre Company, the last stronghold of serious-minded plays that look unflinchingly at our world and times, presents its new Greek tragedy! This is a story of power and the public, and of people in society who have committed crimes. Starting with the organization of the text, Yuta Funaiwa has taken on a classic Greek tragedy depicting the fate of the House of Atreus, adding a prequel and sequel from Euripides to the foundation of Aeschylus’ Oresteia.
