Nibroll announces its first new dance performances, both domestic and overseas, in over two years. They will stay in multiple locations, researching local flavors, culture, and history through their unique methods of dance, video, art, and music; and will create new projects through their workshops. They will focus on what each distinct local culture feels it means to “live” in a place, and organically fuse them into a work strong enough to be delivered to an audience without losing what makes them unique. The first year will focus on research and production, the second on tours in Japan and Asia, and the third on tours in Europe and the United States.
