Profile

Since 2012, neuroscientist Naotaka Fujii, performance art group GRINDER-MAN, and musician evala have been engaged in presenting interactive, immersive performance art works. Blending dance performance with virtual reality (VR), which is attracting growing attention worldwide, this series presents new possibilities for physical expression through the elaborate compositions created when virtual images become mixed with real bodies. Following on from “MIRAGE” (2012-2014) and “The Mirror” (2015-present), the group will present its third and newest work, “Neighbor” (2016).
