In order to improve/advance the environment for contemporary dance creation in Japan, HiWood first gets involved with productions by dance companies, and invests time and effort in nurturing the company. Next it proactively creates projects that give even a little more dancing opportunities to young dance artists. The company aims to create demand for and extend the reach of Japanese contemporary dance not only in Japan but overseas.
