ASAKUSA ENTERTAINMENTS is a screening exhibition and a small film festival about the legacy of mass culture entertainment, accessed critically from a geopolitical viewpoint and as a reflection of Asakusa’s multinational community. From Sci-Fi and new religions to investigative journalism, a range of mechanisms affecting belief and disbelief shape the forms of our thinking, cultures, and leisure industries, and lead us to question the art of governance in modern politics.

During the exhibition period, some video works are also displayed in public spaces including Asakusa Post Office and Asakusa subway mall.
