GEORAMA is an animation festival that began in 2014. Centering on the theme of expansion and deviation from the concept of animation, the 2016 festival features a screening program that provides a sweeping overview of global animation, as well as unique cross-genre events involving music and art. At the same time as introducing trends in cutting edge animation from around the world, GEORAMA 2016 will present new animation expressions that only Tokyo could have produced. With a richly-diverse screening program, organizers aim to break through the stagnancy in animation, and expand its possibilities.
