This is an art project aiming to act as a bridge towards an international “TOKYO” by linking the city’s history and culture through its canals. In efforts to turn cultural resources into tourist attractions, organizers plan to re-use existing facilities in the Tokyo Bay area from Haneda Airport onwards in art-related initiatives going forward, and implement art projects in partnership with Ota-ku, Shinagawa-ku and Minato-ku.

By orchestrating collaborations with individuals and organizations carrying out art-related activities in the Tokyo Bay area (hereinafter the “area”), the Committee aims to boost communication about art-related activities in the area, promote revitalization of the area through art-related activities and create locations where artists can develop.
