In order to reproduce the Ukiyo-e “Oji Shozoku Enoki Omisoka no Kitsunebi” on the theme of Oji drawn by Hiroshige Utagawa, “Oji Fox Pageant” as a traditional event to celebrate New Year was created by some volunteers from local shops in 1993 and has reached today. A lot of people are gathering to welcome the New Year as an event to convey the thought of the hometown.
Oji Kitsune no Gyoretsu no Kai
A group which centering on local volunteers to gather for the purpose to pass the history and the culture of the region to posterity for a future through “Oji Fox Pageant”.
