Profile

KODOMOKYOJIN is a troupe of theatrical performing artists, formed in 2005 by the brothers Takashi and Kanji Masuyama. We are trying to reach every aspect of human life e.g. fear, happiness, anger, dreams, stupidity etc. with no taboo nor limits. Most of our stories are set in a fantasy & surreal world and we use a lot of black humours. Our works include a series of plays which is showed in Japanese style old house with only 20 seats, a series of strange musicals (such as samurai- musical) and so on.

In 2007, 2011, 2012 and 2017, we toured around Belgium & France as a part of the project “Nihonbashi” with Belgian musicians and artists. We also brought our show to Taiwan in 2015.
