TOKYO CANAL LINKS is a project aiming to connect cultural spots to make a large cultural area across the cities of Ota, Minato, and Shinagawa. One of the events is IRON ISLAND FES, an annual event that has been held since 2017 in Keihinjima, Ota City. Currently, other TOKYO CANAL LINKS events in different styles are held in the cities of Shinagawa and Minato as well.

Making BUCKLE KÔBÔ, our art factory the main hub, we will present IRON ISLAND FES, an event to enjoy music and art throughout Keihinjima island. This year Tatzu Nishi, Hiraki Sawa, FAI FAI and other artists who are active internationally will appear at the iron factory which is still in operation, and a variety of live performances and genres of art such as live events, art exhibitions, and performances will be held with the theme ” Factory × Artist.”

In Shinagawa City, a series of lectures on art and business has been held, and in Takanawa, Minato City, an assemblage on the local cultural resource is providing opportunities for networking researchers and local social entrepreneurs.
