JAZZ ART Executive Committee
The JAZZ ART Executive Committee was established in April 2019 by artists and production staff concerned to take over the management of the “JAZZ ART SENGAWA” which has been held annually since 2008 as a project sponsored by the SENGAWA Theater in Chofu City. The aim is to continue to contribute to the stated goal of “Nurturing deep-pocketed regional communities that accept diverse values” in close cooperation with the residents of the Sengawa area. It is internationally recognized as a festival representing Japanese experimental and improvised music, and since fiscal year 2018 it has been dispatching artists to ‘Festival International de Musique Actuelle de Victoriaville’, a experimental music festival in Quebec, Canada.
