Outline

As part of the art market held in New York, the United States, they are invited to participate in showcase hosted by the Japan Society which is the contact point for introducing Japanese culture to the United States. Due to the spread of Coronavirus Omicron stain, travel was canceled and participation was made in the video, but the current state of Japanese dance could be appealed to the world.

Kentaro Kujirai & Barabbas Okuyama
Born in Japan in the 1960s, the two major bases of Butoh that fundamentally changed the concept of dance, Akira Kasai’s Tenshikan and Akaji Maro’s Dairakudakan,.Kujirai and Okuyama stadied these companies . They respectively, inherited Butoh and developed the next generation of dance. Established in 2019 with the aim of. Duo’s work “A Hum San Sui” was invited to the 2019 International ChangMu Festival in Korea and was well received.
