This exhibition was the world premiere of a mask-themed installation by Kamizu, an artist and native of Myanmar, a country which has been in turmoil since the military coup there in February 2021. This exhibition looking at human life and democracy welcomed 2,262 visitors over ten days. As related events during the exhibition period there were also three online workshops and a symposium with Kamizu appearing from Myanmar, events which embodied solidarity through art.
