The three cities of Tokyo, Cesena and Hong Kong saw screenings of the diary movies composed of everyday film footage by Rino Daidoji, “My Days of Quarantine” and “When in summer I forget about the winter,” as well as talk events, and the distribution of related zines and stickers. Daidoji then exchanged views online in Tokyo and Hong Kong and directly in Cesena with audience members about everyone’s daily life under the pandemic, an experience shared the world over.
Daidoji’s Super Experimental Club
Based mainly in Tokyo, Japan and Cesena, Italy, the purpose of Daidoji’s Super Experimental Club is to cast aside the difficulties and anxieties currently associated with the production of artworks under the simple assertion that “everything is an experiment!,” and to continue with experimental creative projects that are not restricted to a particular form of artwork.
