Outline

The international exchange project that brings together overseas artists (from Sweden and France) and Japanese artists develop their creativities through art (exhibitions, workshops, performances, events, exchange meetings, etc.). In particular, as an exchange project with Marseille, France, artists from both cities were dispatched and invited to Japan from Marseille and Sumida Ward. The artists stayed in the Kyojima neighborhood and engaged in activities to enhance the cultural power of the area while interacting with local residents. The program also aimed to help Tokyo re-start its operations as an international city beyond the pandemic.
