Outline

Along with the traditional Japanese performing arts of Noh and Kyogen, this performance showcased a contemporary work with Noh performers, modern dance and ballet dancers.
In addition to the Noh play “Tomoe” and the Kyogen piece “Sadogitune,” this year’s performance featured a dance work based on Ryunosuke Akutagawa’s novel “In the Woods,” which gave a real sense of the diversity of Noh-based expression.
