As the antithesis of commercial theater, actors make and deliver the theater they want to do. As the first step toward this goal, Mao Tamura has created a one-person play that she wrote, directed, and performed herself. Choosing Salome as her subject, Tamura has fused her memories of the past with other elements to create an original work.

MAO TAMURA
Actor. Graduated from the Drama and Theatre Arts course, School of Arts and Letters, Meiji University. Member of Fukuda & Co. After studying at the Theater Institute attached to Bungakuza in 2017, Tamura joined TC ALP. She currently divides her time between Nagoya and Tokyo.
