Battery Art Manager Mentorship Program Phase 2 focused on performing arts professionals (arts managers, producers, coordinators, etc.) working for theater companies, dance companies, etc., and freelancers (not employed by an organization), was held over a period of approximately nine months. The mentees’ current field of work was used as a development site, and the mentor team’s experience and network provided support, with the goal of nurturing the mentees and helping them develop sustainable activities and vitality for the future. In addition to regular mentoring sessions between the mentor and mentee teams, regular debriefing sessions were held for all project members to engage in dialogue, and open lectures were also held for the general public. Finally, all participants gathered in Tokyo for the “Last Pitch” to conclude the activities.
