CURATION⇄FAIR is an art event merging two art world experiences of a curator-led exhibition to explore the social significance of artworks, and an art fair to enjoy acquiring art from the finest galleries.The inaugural “CURATION⇄FAIR Tokyo” was held at the registered tangible cultural property “kudan house”, Tokyo. The event was composed of an exhibition “The beautiful, the ambiguous, and itself” [Feb 22nd (Thu) – Mar 3rd (Sun)], followed by an art fair “Art Kudan” [Mar 9th (Sat) – 11th (Mon)], featuring Hozu Yamamoto as senior advisor and Mizuki Endo as curator. Under the concept of elevating art engagement by merging alternate art experiences, CURATION⇄FAIR aspires to showcase Japan’s distinct interpretation of beauty and artistic expression, and offer visitors a deeper understanding of the artworks’ intrinsic values, a trusted environment to make informed purchases, and an opportunity for networking and fostering communication through art.
