A unit started by playwright/actor Makoto Enomoto. Themed around “the comedy of our hectic lives,” Japanese Life depicts us as we are, desperately racing around to resolve the incidents that occur in our daily lives. Japanese Life explores “the everyday comedy that emerges from half-baked reality.”

Enomoto began theater through a university club. He has presented and performed numerous works under the theme of “the comedy of our hectic lives,” showing young people as they are, desperately trying to overcome difficulties even as they laugh. He formed the theatrical unit Japanese Life in January 2023
