House of Sphere (2023)
With the aim of promoting exchange between the contemporary music scenes of Northern Europe and Japan, Denmark-based cellist Alexandra Hallén performed works by three Japan-based Japanese composers, and by a Japanese composer based in Sweden. The event also featured a lecture by three composers.
Cabinet of Curiosities Association
Cabinet of Curiosities Association was formed in 2021 as a composers’ collective. In addition to organizing and running contemporary music performances through research-based curation, the Association aims to revitalize the contemporary music scene through cross-disciplinary events, educational programs, and archive projects and activities by Japan-based composers.
