A collaboration between Akane Kuri and Fuu Yoshizawa, in which they explore new forms by fusing their respective creativity. Utilizing the school classroom like space of venue Muriwui, the duo offers a multi-perspective dance for adults which brings back old school memories. It is a project that attempts to blend art with other genres, such as unique spatial design using video projection, and the sounds of the DJ acode.
Adults, welcome to the Classroom at Night.
Since this is a classroom, let’s aim to form character, to love truth and justice, to respect our individual worth, to value hard work and responsibility, and to be people filled with independent spirit.
Since this is a classroom, let’s dance tonight.
This is a classroom, but let’s dance tonight.
Tonight, we gather at Muriwui.

Fuu Yoshizawa
Studied dance after having learnt piano and jazz dance since she was small. Graduated from Japan Women’s College of Physical Education Dance Studies Major. While at university she began creating dance works as well as engaging in choreography.
Recent works include “Missing,” which featured in KICHIJOJI DANCE RE WRITE vol.3; and “Dental,” in which she creates a wacky world a million miles from the simple musings on life that inspire it. Yoshizawa creates a unique world view on stage from the trivial details of everyday life, transporting the spectator to another world.
