In Berlin, Germany, Tsuji conducted research on gender equality and the rights of LGBTQ+ people and created and showcased several video installations. Her work looks at interpersonal relationships, in particular how people from different backgrounds understand each other. She reconsiders the roles required of different genders, ages, nationalities, etc. and their related stereotypes in video works that provoke thought and dialog to aid the creation of easier relationships. The purpose of the work produced by Tsuji under this residency program is to generate opportunities for people to think about diverse approaches to connection with others.
