“Oi! Saiko-ni LOVE nandaga Namida”
Production of a one-man play created around Kenichi Nagai’s identity.
An art college student is in a same sex relationship with his comedian boyfriend. Friction between the student (who is hesitant about coming out) and his boyfriend (who is openly gay), as well as interaction with the people around him causes the student to reconsider the way he approaches his own identity, and the way he expresses it.
To accompany this work, a workshop will be held aimed at closing the gap between watching theater and performing it.

Kenichi Nagai
A Virgo, Nagai is an actor born in Tokyo on September 12, 1996. He has appeared in a wide range of genres, “rampaging freely” through everything from works by theater companies focusing on physical expression to light comedies. Nagai explores the joy of performing, and to what extent he can lower the hurdles to acting and allow people to experience the joy of performing. He does this in “theater workshops to lighten your mood,” which he has personally planned and run since 2023. Nagai’s wish is for all sorts of people to be able to perform on stage. In 2024 he launched a solo theatrical unit, bǎo・bǎo.
