In the Sea Forest Waterway area of Koto City, Tokyo
Nuthmique held an outdoor theater performance and driving tour in the outdoor Sea Forest Waterway area and its surrounds.
Outdoor theater
Outdoor theater performances were held in and around the Sea Forest Waterway area. The performances were divided into two parts, taking place on board a chartered bus and at Sea Forest Waterway. On the bus leaving from Tokyo Teleport Station, actors dressed as bus guides took the audience around the Central Breakwater landfills as the performance proceeded. In the second half of the event, an outdoor play was performed at Sea Forest Waterway, in which the cast walked with the audience through reclaimed land under spatial composition designed by 2.5 architects.
Composed, directed, written and music by: Masashi Nukata
Spatial composition: 2.5 architects (Fumika Morito and Shingei Katsu)
Performed by: Wataru Naganuma (actor), Masashi Nukata (writer/director), Tsumugi Harada (actor), Misaki Motofuji (musician), Koichi Mitsuoka (artist)
Field survey driving tour
With 2.5 architects acting as guides, audience members boarded a charter bus and took a driving tour around reclaimed land known as the Aomi 3-chome area.
