Outline

It is a concert to commemorate the Kensokai 100th anniversary was founded by Kin’o Yonekawa (1883-1969), he is a grandfather of the 2nd Toshiko Yonekawa.
The concert has the purpose for which get recognized in the performer and the audience that SANKYOKU is the one world-class as an intangible cultural heritage of Japan by the ensemble of the high level musicians.

Profile

The 2nd Toshiko Yonekawa
Studied in The 1st Toshiko Yonekawa (Person of Cultural Merit and Living national treasure). Graduated from the NHK (Japanese national broadcasting corporation) School for Young Professionals. Received the new face award of Minister of Education Award for Fine Arts in 1995 / the Agency for Cultural Affairs Art Festival Prizes in 1996 / Japanese Traditional Culture Promotion Award in 1998 / Exxon Mobil Music Award in 2004 / the Ministry of Education in the Art Encouragement Prizes in 2007 / Medal with Purple Ribbon in 2011 / Teimeikogo Memorial silk Science Award in 2013 / Japan Art Academy Prize in 2015. The 5th Iemoto of Kensokai. The specially appointed professor of Kurashiki Sakuyo University.
