Call for TURN Fes Supporters & Information Session

Genre:
  • Art Project ,
  • Others

TURN Fes will be held over the course of three days at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum from March 4 – 6. TURN Fes is a place where artists from various backgrounds converge and share new experiences. It is a space where the creativity within us all can be discovered, where people can come together and affirm each other. TURN Fes supporters are the ones who lay the groundwork for this event.

What do TURN Fes supporters do?
Supporters lend a helping hand so that attendees can enjoy the Fes over the course of the event. They help set up a variety of programs for the enjoyment of participants of many different backgrounds, including those who require special assistance. Supporters also help prepare spaces people can use to freely interact with the works, take part in workshops, converse with others, or just lie around. We’re looking for supporters who have the kind of consideration it takes to create this type of relaxed environment!
Prior to the Fes, we will be holding an orientation for supporters to get to know each other better and learn how to assist attendees. After the Fes, we also plan on distributing information on future TURN events to anyone interested.

*TURN will be featured as one of the Leading Projects for the city of Tokyo in preparation for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games’ “Cultural Programme.”

*Stay tuned for more details on the TURN Fes, to be posted on this website on Tuesday, January 26.

This volunteer role is ideal for:

  • People interested in the TURN concept and who share the same views
  • People interested in helping orchestrate art projects
  • People who want to help set up exhibits
  • People interested in welfare
  • People who want to be more active in society
