Traditional performing arts abound in valuable ideas and experiences that give inspiration and strength to those who will soon go out into the world. We encourage you to make this strength your friend and ally.
The Special Youth Course is a unique youth program for junior high and high school students whose lives are busy with study and after-school activities. Participants attend an intensive 10-lesson, three-month training course taught by professional performers, leading up to an authentic stage performance. During the course they will not only learn performance skills, but also take part in the special project “Practice Plus,” which explores the fun of traditional performing arts from multiple points of view. Through a variety of approaches, this course supports you in the process of making friends with tradition.
