R.I.P.TOKYO

We want to get together with everyone around a bowl of hot soup and try to see the mirages in its steam.
Food builds the human body; the body encounters the world in daily life and dwellings; building multiple dwellings creates a community. Let’s call the ultimate outcome of this “Tokyo,” for example.
The human body, daily life, homes, communities…they all start sometime and they all eventually end.
If soup was all we had left, the mirage-like community seen in the steam rising up from it would be Tokyo.
Rest In Peace, Tokyo. Tokyo is missed and loved.
