Every Wednesday afternoon, a room in the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum is opened to children. Members register, and come and go in the museum as an after school club-room, encountering different people and learning different things. They can wander through the exhibits, make things out of discarded material, talk to the other children there, and visit the other museums in Ueno Park. Together with various museum staff and special “art communicators” they will think about what they can do, and make this place their own.
