Children’s choral and crafts and construction workshops in cooperation with the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Opera BOX Tama production of the opera “Hansel and Gretel.” A chance for children to take on the challenge of honest-to-goodness opera!
Professional instructors will teach choral singing and performance. Participants will dress in costume, and encounter top-level opera performers on the stage. Practice and teamwork will lead to a successful opera performance.
The program will be conducted in Japanese.

Number of participants

Approx. 30-40 people.
To be decided by lottery if oversubscribed.

Participants

Students from 6 to 18 years old.

Entry requirements

Must be able to attend on any specified date.

Participants should be able to attend all sessions.
Parents/caregivers of participants 10 years old or below are asked to accompany children to/from the venue.

Application period

Postmarked between May 1(Thu.) and May 30(Fri.).
A list of participants is due to be completed by late June (All applications will be answered by letter).
No telephone and other inquiries for the inquiries acceptable.

Participation fee(Tax included)

2,000 yen
