Winners of the Tokyo Music Competition and other leading young performers offer concerts with talks and mini-workshops in schools in Tokyo to give children who may not often be exposed to classical music an enjoyable and easily understood opportunity to experience it.
By familiarizing children with musical art, it is hoped that children will come to understand its appeal, and be encouraged to attend concert-hall performances.
