With information becoming increasingly open in our society, how should fields of art conducting art projects and cultural organizations approach and incorporate this trend toward openness?
Through workshops and profiles of pioneering initiatives, this course will provide an opportunity to examine the trend toward openness along with our guests, gaining a deeper understanding of the new relationship between culture and the creative commons (CC), which is the prime example of this culture of openness, and thinking about the vision for the future of culture.

*This course will be conducted as part of Tokyo Art Research Lab’s “Project Creation Project” research and development program.

Tokyo Culture Creation Project Office (Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture)
