Art Support Tohoku-Tokyo Talk Session #03

“Radio Shimo-Kajiro” is a project being carried out in Shimo-Kajiro Housing Complex, a prefectural disaster-recovery public housing complex in Fukushima’s Iwaki City. How will people in faraway places get a full experience of the “voices” or “landscapes” that surface from residents’ everyday lives, memories, stories and interconnections through this initiative? We hope to take time to talk together about the meaning of gently introducing music to the process of comprehending people’s memories or thinking about how to face up to events, and to enjoy music together.
