YATO Yearend

With yearend approaching, on December 23 we will be pounding steamed rice for mochi rice cakes at Ryoudenji Temple and enjoying a leisurely chat at our “YATO Yearend” event. We hope to share memories and local yarns as we look at past and present video footage and photographs of the Tadao area.

Program

YATO outdoor television 10:00 – 13:00
Saiwaicho Bagpipe Club performance 11:00 – 11:30

*We will also hold mochi-pounding at Ryoudenji Temple on the day (10:00 — 13:00).
*Program is subject to change

“YATO outdoor television” will comprise a monitor showing modern video footage as well as old footage and photographs of Tadao scenes uncovered during local research. If you have any old video footage (video, 8mm film etc.) and photographs showing the local area which you can lend us for the event, please get in touch.
