Hideki Noda’s classic masterpiece comes to Theatre East!

Performance of“Red Demon” provides a first look at members of actor training project Tokyo Theatre DoJo, selected by Hideki Noda from over 1700 auditionees.
“Red Demon” was one of the first plays to portray some of the problems facing today’s society like immigration, national borders, and social divisions. For the first time in 16 years, Noda himself will direct the masterpiece developed with actors in Japan, the UK, Thailand and South Korea since the work premiered in 1996.

This performance is being held at Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre with measures designed to prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID 19) infection. When you purchase a ticket please make sure you check “Coronavirus measures at Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre and request to visitors
