The SSDW CONTEST is a street dance contest that pits high school dance club teams against one another in a battle requiring flexible thinking and collaborative skills. The aim of the contest is the training and discovery of young aspiring dancers.
*We will record the contest, to be held without an audience at Yoyogi Park Outdoor Stage on Tuesday, November 23 (public holiday), and stream it in digest form on Sunday, November 28.

Eligibility rules
【Entry requirements】
Teams applying for entry must meet all the following conditions.
【Team size】
5 or more members per team
【Performance】
Stage size: 17 m (W) x 15 m (D)
Performance time: 2 min.–2 min. 30 sec. (* Teams that exceed the prescribed performance time will be disqualified)
Props: Teams may use any props that they can set up and remove by themselves within the allotted time (30 seconds before and after their performance; teams that exceed the prescribed time will be disqualified)
Music: At the teams’ discretion
【Other】
We plan to film footage of the contest on the day and stream/show highlights.
Please note footage may be used on sites related to SSDW, social media platforms, various media outlets, etc.

Applicable regions: Metropolitan Tokyo area, Kanagawa Prefecture, Chiba Prefecture, Saitama Prefecture
Number of applicants: 10 schools *first-come-first-served basis (with waiting list)
