Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Arts Council Tokyo, Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture will hold Tokyo Grand Tea Ceremony, a popular autumn tradition in 13th consecutive years at two venues in compliance with the prevention measures for the spread of infections of corona virus (Covid-19) for the first time in three years.
*This event will be held in compliance with the event guidelines and venue usage rules issued by the national government and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
The official website has pages for event guidelines and venue usage rules for guests and organizers can participate in the event safely to prevent the spread of infections such as Covid-19.
*These countermeasures against Covid-19 infections are subject to change based on government policies and local infection rates.So, please check the official website before you participate.

All tea ceremony programs at both venues require advanced reservations.
Participants may apply using “Application Form” on the official website or a reply-paid postcard. After the deadline, a lottery will be held to determine the winning reservations when the number of applications exceed. One guest can only reserve once per venue.

On a reply-paid postcard, write items (1) – (9) and mail the postcard to the Tokyo Grand Tea Ceremony Office.

The participation fee for all tea ceremony programs is 500 yen including tax.
